Since Florida decided to get cold the one week we have spring break, going to the beach wasn't the ideal plan last week. Instead I watched the new movie Black Panther, and one of my favorite television shows, This is Us. I also spent most of the time talking to my father about his life and finding out new things I never knew about him. One of the many aspects I would like to incorporate in my essay from Black Panther is the unexpected twist and turns in the plot. This not only kept me entertained, but also left me wanting more. The same goes for the television show This is Us except there was one more thing I would like to take from this narrative- the drama. Although many people may say they don't like having drama in their lives, they sure do like reading/watching it. This aspect puts a flare in ones essay and touch the readers pathos. This ties into hearing the stories from my dad. He talked with such intent and really inspired me to live my best life. My father has always been a great story teller and I never understood why until now. He touches on logos and pathos when he speaks about his past. It almost feels like you're there experiencing it all with him. This is one of the main things I want for my story, to make the reader feel that they're almost in the story. All in all this spring break wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.
