BOOKS AND BEACH
Growing up, reading was always a battle for me. I struggled with reading until about the third grade when my mom put me in tutoring. After years of struggling with learning how to read I finally realized how much I actually enjoyed books. I started my book collection in the seventh grade and have made it to 71 books and counting. As for the beach, as a child the best memories for me happened at the beach, so why not do my favorite thing at my favorite place?
MUSIC
Music has surrounded me my whole entire life. My favorite memories were when my dad would strum me a song on his guitar or when my mom would hum a song while she was cooking. I realized my passion for music in the eighth grade and made my dad sign me up for piano lessons. Every since then I have loved everything about music. How it makes you feel, to how there is always a song for every mood you're in. Another favorite past time is playing music and going to concerts.
NATURE
My love for nature has always been a unique trait of mine. I can remember being in grade school and asking the teacher to recycle because she kept throwing her water bottles in the trash can. As I grew older this continued to be an interest of mineI joined the Eco-Action club in High school and loved it. My favorite places in Orlando is Airport Lakes and Leu Gardens. The picture above is actually from my favorite spot in Leu Gardens. Although my love for nature may not be the most exciting thing about me, it definitely is one of the most beautiful.
